Introducing:

Therapy - An Art Social

Join us for one night of music, drinks, socialising and art!

About the show

Therapy is a journey to self, an intimate and personal exploration of healing through creating. This body of work emerged from the deeply personal process of confronting and unpacking trauma—opening the box we often seal shut, hoping the discomfort will fade if ignored long enough. Instead of continuing to build over the pain, I chose to open the box, dive in, let those feelings loose, and follow the path to self, awareness and consciousness. Painting felt like setting my soul free and allowing it to create whatever it desired.

Although I partake in talking therapy, I often joke with friends that painting is free therapy, (minus the cost of paint, brushes, canvas, primer, charcoal, paper, varnish, paint thinner, framing – you get it), and I feel that many creatives can relate to this.

This show is a visualisation of what happens when you listen to your truest self.
